REBLOG AND SEND ME YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE APART OF TUMBLR’S BIGGEST LOSER WEIGHT LOSS COMPETITION. TEAMS WILL BE ASSIGNED THE 30TH OF MAY!

If 500 + people reblog I will make more teams! This will be a group will be all about supporting each other through our weight loss journeys starting JUNE 1ST and ending SEPTEMBER 1ST. It’s all about being body positive, making friends, eating healthy, and exercising. No short cuts or bullshit just hard work and dedication.

RULES:

  • You must eat at the very least 1,000 calories a day. Pro-ana and Pro-mia will not be accepted into the group. However, if you are currently recovering or are recovered from an ED you may join.
  • No one may encourage (or advise) someone to try harmful diets or do anything harmful to themselves to loose weight.

I am also looking for MODs for each group. If you want to take on that role please send me an application with: your name, age, and email + why you want to be a mod. You must be a positive person, be very encouraging to the people in your group, and give support to members in your group who are struggling.

Heartwarming Tearjerker of the Day: The sheer cliffs at the mouth of Sydney Harbor have long been a popular Australian suicide spot. But they’re about to get a lot more deadly — the local man who is credited with talking at least 160 people out of killing themselves since 1964 died this week.
Window-watcher Don Ritchie, known as the Angel of the Gap, could spot the troubled ones from his home across the street; he’d wander down to the cliff-edge and calmly ask, “Can I help you in some way?” More often then not, he could. He’d chat with them a bit, then invite them back to his place for a cup of tea.
“My ambition has always been to just get them away from the edge, to buy them time, to give them the opportunity to reflect and give them the chance to realize that things might look better the next morning,” Ritchie once said. “You just can’t sit there and watch them. You’ve got to try and save them.”
